The 2026 Sydney International Open can provide the following conditions to Australian interstate and overseas players who are Grandmasters, with a FIDE Rating of at least 2400.

• Free accommodation, in a twin share, at Novotel West HQ from Tuesday, 7th of April to Monday, 13th of April. The accommodation will be directly upstairs from the playing venue.
• Free entry into the Championships and Blitz division of the tournament.
• Transportation from Canberra to Sydney for the Doeberl Cup via Coach.
• Overseas international masters are eligible for free accommodation, provided they travel with a FIDE Grandmaster in a twin-share.

Please note that a bond is payable, which is refunded upon the completion of the tournament + any additional prize money if applicable.
